About The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll use your expertise in financial services to manage and deliver complex projects on time and within scope. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with senior executives, regulators, and diverse stakeholders, ensuring each project drives meaningful results.

You will champion both Waterfall and Agile methodologies while fostering a culture of excellence, making a tangible difference in our members' lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across the RACQ Group, including senior leaders and executives.
  • Lead high-stakes projects using a business-focused approach, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making by utilising impactful reports and metrics.
  • Collaborate with Change Managers to ensure seamless member and business readiness.
  • Evaluate potential project risks comprehensively, develop strategic mitigation plans, and implement proactive measures to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to the board and key decision-makers.
  • Mentor and guide project teams, promoting consistency and excellence across departments.
  • Identify and resolve complex challenges through innovative problem-solving and strategic thinking.

  • Expertise in governance, budgeting, risk management, scheduling, and benefits realisation.
  • Proven success in delivering high-value, complex projects within stringent deadlines and regulated environments.
  • Strong ability to engage with senior executives and present confidently to the board.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to address challenges and deliver practical solutions.
  • Extensive experience delivering complex transformation projects, ideally across an ERP system or similar technologies.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and present complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong leadership abilities to inspire cross-functional teams and foster a supportive community of project delivery professionals.
