Randstad is currently seeking an experienced Case Officer (APS5) to join a high-performing federal government team.

Position Description

  • Conduct detailed assessments in line with relevant legislation and policy.
  • Develop, implement, and review individualised case plans based on assessment outcomes.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, maintaining regular contact to monitor progress and update plans where necessary.
  • Liaise with internal teams, external service providers, and community stakeholders to deliver coordinated support.
  • Identify and manage risks, including escalating complex or high-risk cases when required.
  • Prepare reports, case notes, and documentation to a high professional standard.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback, data analysis, and participation in service reviews.

Key Capabilities

  • Experience conducting assessments.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritise work in a dynamic environment.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, programs, and services in the human services or government sector.
  • Familiarity with case management systems and reporting tools.

Position Requirements / Qualifications

  • Baseline Clearance.
  • Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
