Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for driven, hands-on Cyber Engineers for 12 month Fixed Term Contracts to help lead strategic and technical projects that make a difference! You will design and deliver smart security solutions, protect our systems, and embed controls that scale with the business.

What you’ll do

• Build and improve security systems across apps and infrastructure
• Identify vulnerabilities and embed smarter, stronger controls
• Lead design reviews, threat modelling, and security assessments
• Collaborate with security architects, developers, and business teams
• Keep us one step ahead with evolving standards and secure practices

What you’ll bring to NGM Group

In addition to your ability to thrive in a face-paced environment, you will have:

• Strong security engineering experience (network, cloud, infrastructure, code)
• Practical knowledge of firewalls, access controls, encryption, and threat detection
• Exposure to both Linux & Windows environments
• Confidence in cloud tooling—think AWS, Azure, O365, SIEM, and endpoint security
• A problem-solving mindset and the drive to get things done

You will get bonus points for certs like CISSP, GSEC, Security+, or CISM!
