The Role

We are excited to welcome a passionate and innovative Wellbeing Team Leader (Leisure & Lifestyle) to join our friendly and dynamic team at our Boronia Aged Care. This is more than a job, it’s an opportunity to inspire and empower our residents through meaningful, engaging activities that enrich their daily lives.

If you are organised, energetic, and self-motivated and love planning and facilitating wellbeing and lifestyle programs with a real purpose, then this role is for you!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and support the delivery of diverse lifestyle and wellbeing programs that encourage social connection and meaningful engagement
  • Actively encourage residents to participate in recreational, social, emotional, spiritual, and cultural activities
  • Provide individualized one-on-one support tailored to resident interests and needs
  • Assist with assessments, care plan reviews, and ongoing wellbeing program improvements
  • Collaborate closely with clinical and care teams to ensure holistic resident wellbeing
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider community
  • Explore and introduce new and innovative programs and outings, from local community events to exciting experiences like a lunch out, social games, or even a musical show!

What We’re Looking For

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle
  • Knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
  • A caring, honest, and empathetic person who lives our MACG family values
  • Strong organisational skills, creativity, and enthusiasm to make a real difference in residents’ lives
