Based primarily at St Vincent's Private Hospital, East Melbourne
I-MED Radiology Network, Australia's largest medical imaging network, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Grade 3 Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team across our Central Melbourne clinics.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work primarily at St Vincent's Private Hospital in East Melbourne, with some flexibility to support nearby sites as needed.
This full-time permanent role offers a Monday to Friday schedule - enjoy your weekends off!
About The Role
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll play an important role in the running of the department. As well as, providing high-quality nursing support, assisting with procedures, and ensuring excellent patient care throughout their journey with us.
You'll report to the Area Nurse Coordinator and work collaboratively with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical staff, and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Radiologists with interventional procedures, including gaining informed consent, assessing medical history, monitoring observations, and providing post-procedure recovery care.
- Procedures include biopsies, epidurals, spinal injections, lumbar punctures, drainages, and pain management injections.
- Maintaining a safe environment and emergency equipment.
- Fulfilling role of senior nurse in the department and mentoring other staff.
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to all patients.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and supportive clinic culture.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience with Radiology Nursing
- Proven acute nursing experience.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
