About the role:
Carinity is seeking a detail oriented and collaborative Resident Data Officer to join our Finance and Administration team. Based at our Gaythorne Head Office, you will be responsible for resident system administration, accurate financial processing, and supporting aged care facilities with resident data management and billing.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Accurate entry and reconciliation of resident information and agreements into internal systems
- Processing resident financials including invoicing, direct debits, and refunds
- Supporting aged care sites with client billing queries and data accuracy
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders on financial projects and reporting
- Maintaining detailed knowledge of relevant government subsidies, legislation, and accounting practices
About you:
To be successful in this position you would be experienced in finance, administration, or accounting, with a solid understanding of accounts receivable processes. You should bring a balanced approach to independent work and team collaboration, with strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
In addition.
- Tertiary Qualification/s in Finance, Accounting or similar relevant disciplines
- Experience using Telstra Health, Tech 1 or a similar large accounting system
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in aged care or not-for-profit finance is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
