Dynamic and highly reputable global financial services organisation is seeking a seasoned and passionate Head of Internal Communications to join their high performing Communications team.

Reporting into the Global Internal Communications Lead, this is a critical senior role responsible for leading internal communications across some of their key business units and managing one direct report.


This pivotal role will see you responsible for:

  • Leading and delivering the communications strategies for two divisions and Employee Experience initiatives, integrating strategic and change communications to help the divisions achieve their goals and contribute to their outstanding Employee Experience
  • Leading and delivering the divisional heads’ communications strategies which support the divisions’ strategic and cultural goals and personal brand of the leaders
  • Designing and writing compelling communications and content for all channels to engage and inspire
  • Collaborating with other communications business partners well as Human Resources and Learning & Development Business partners to design and deliver an integrated and consistent approach to communications around Employee Experience.
  • Collaborating with the rest of the internal communications and engagement team to plan and deliver key communications and engagement events and campaigns
  • Leading an internal communications executive who will work with you to deliver communications and experiences


You will have:

  • Tertiary qualified in communications, marketing or relevant
  • A proactive, strategic approach with a flair for creative ideas and strong bias to delivery and exceptional employee experience
  • Proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement and change communications
  • A track record in quickly developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders and effective and constructive relationships at all levels
  • Proven ability to execute communication campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and lead a team
  • Excellent project management and time management skills
  • Capacity to multi-task and a flexible, proactive attitude
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, corporate environment with a strong learning, innovation mindset
  • Proven experience working within or delivering internal communications within financial services or professional services
