In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving collections performance, reducing arrears, and managing complex customer accounts — all while supporting a small, collaborative team This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day collections activity with coaching, process improvement, and strategic oversight. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and external partners to deliver strong recovery outcomes while maintaining a positive customer experience What You’ll Do
  • Lead & support collections across novated lease and finance portfolios
  • Manage complex accounts & escalations
  • Coach & mentor the Collections Officer
  • Oversee external debt collection partners
  • Analyse trends, spot risks, & drive process improvements
  • Prepare clear, insightful reports for senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other teams
What We’re Looking For Strong background in debt recovery (finance, leasing or automotive preferred)
Solid understanding of consumer credit laws (NCCP, Privacy Act)
Confident negotiator with great judgement under pressure
Skilled in handling sensitive or complex customer situations
Leadership experience or proven ability to guide others
Strong communication, problem-solving & time management skills
Comfortable with data analysis and reporting (Excel, CRM systems) Why Join Us? Small, supportive team
