You’ll play a pivotal role in uncovering opportunities to optimise our portfolio performance, driving smarter, faster, and more strategic decision-making across the organisation. Your ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights will directly influence everything from growth strategies and market positioning to recontracting initiatives and commercial planning. By identifying trends, gaps, and emerging opportunities, you’ll empower our business development and relationship management teams to take proactive, targeted action- ensuring we remain competitive as a sector leader.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on portfolio data and performance metrics.
  • Analyse sales, service, attendance, and financial data to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategy and recontracting.
  • Develop and manage systems for performance tracking, forecasting, and sales benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with Business Developers and Relationship Managers to deliver actionable insights.
  • Lead monthly reporting and KPI analysis, incorporating internal and external trends.
  • Maintain expertise in industry bodies (e.g. AEDC, ACECQA, ACARA) and frameworks (e.g. NQF, NQS) to inform market, compliance, and operational insights.
  • Utilise AI, ML, and tools like Power BI, SQL, and MS Fabric to enhance analytics and reporting.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a commercial analytics or insights role, preferably across sectors.
  • Strong background in translating data into strategic narratives that drive action.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and experience with AI/ML-driven models.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills—able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A passion for interpreting external market data and turning it into commercial recommendations.

Bonus Points For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Commerce.
  • Experience in the childcare or education sector.
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies (e.g., ACECQA, AEDC, ACARA) and compliance frameworks.
