About the Opportunity:

We are recruiting for multiple Accounts Receivable Officer positions to join a purpose-driven organisation in Brisbane’s southern suburbs. These 12-month fixed term contracts offer the chance to contribute to meaningful community outcomes while working in a supportive and values-led environment. These opportunities require an immediate start or a short notice period.

About the Role:

As an Accounts Receivable Officer, your primary focus will be on managing debt collection and maintaining strong customer relationships. You’ll thrive in a high-volume, low-value environment and enjoy working in a structured, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end debt collection for a portfolio of approximately 200 customers
• Perform daily banking and receipting duties
• Generate customer invoices and process credit notes accurately and efficiently
• Follow up on outstanding accounts in line with internal policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records and support month-end reporting requirements
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Collections Officer positions
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with accounting software and intermediate Excel skills
• Experience in the not-for-profit or community sector (desirable but not essential)
