Job Summary

Job Description Have an in depth understanding of the L1/L2 working principles of 4G/5G and the evolution trend of the front haul; Technical support for RAN network equipment cover GSM, UMTS, LTE Provide Level 1 technical support service to the Carrier and Enterprise customers independently or together with a support L2 team Basic knowledge of mobile communication principles (GSM, UMTS , LTE network structure, function of RAN elements like eNB/NB/BTS/RNC/BSC); Basic knowledge of core parts functions like SGSN, GGSN, MME is an advantage. Knowledge of IP principles (Routers, Switches, Firewalls), Unix scripting (Bash, Python etc.), virtualization SWs Participate in the planning and design of the RAN infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the requirements of the network Configure and deploy the RAN components, ensuring that the network is optimized for maximum performance and reliability Continuously monitor and optimize the RAN performance, making necessary changes to ensure that the network is functioning effectively and efficiently Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the RAN, such as outages, dropped calls Strong understanding of RAN architectures, including 4G LTE Experience with Huawei network automation tools and platforms Familiarity with network orchestration and service orchestration concepts and technologies (eg, NFV, SDN, MANO, ETSI frameworks) Understanding of OSS/BSS systems and their integration with network elements Experience with bulk provisioning Scripting into ENM and understanding conflict/overload Knowledge and understanding of RAN Alliance interfaces such as O1, A1, O2 and M Plane Knowledge of cloud native architectures and virtualized RAN (vRAN) Collaborate with the Mobile Automation team to architect, design, and implement RAN automation solutions to streamline network operations, including provisioning, fault management, and performance optimization Work closely with cross functional teams, including core network, IT, and field operations teams, to ensure alignment on automation goals and objectives Identify opportunities for improvement in RAN automation processes, tools, and technologies, staying updated on the latest trends in RAN automation and orchestration
