Your Impact
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our iconic Yatala Brewery. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving plant reliability by developing asset management strategies, scheduling weekly maintenance, and planning small maintenance projects. You’ll work cross-functionally with trades, engineers, and contractors to ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities while continuously improving our processes and systems.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our iconic Yatala Brewery. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving plant reliability by developing asset management strategies, scheduling weekly maintenance, and planning small maintenance projects. You’ll work cross-functionally with trades, engineers, and contractors to ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities while continuously improving our processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan maintenance activities, including preparing parts availability, SOP’s, contractor and specific work permits (e.g. hot work, confined space etc.)
- Plan shutdowns and projects and feedback on progress
- Manage incoming work requests and maintenance tags
- Supervise and review planned maintenance with trades and specialist and collaborate on scope of future works and strategies
- Inspect plant and equipment with trades and collaborate on repair solutions
- Work with the Brewing Engineer to manage budget, reviewing reports and providing up to date estimates
- Capture data, input data for analyse and generate asset care reports
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Trade or degree qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment (ideally FMCG)
- Experienced with weekly, to long term planning of maintenance activities
- Ambition and motivation to achieve targets, and develop your own skills
- Experience with SAP PM beneficial
- Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- A safety-oriented mindset, and commitment to prioritising the safety of yourself and others
