As a Machinist / Turner, you will:
- Set up and operate conventional lathes
- Interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, gauges, verniers etc.)
- Work independently while contributing to a high-performing team
- Maintain strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Qualified Fitter and Turner / Fitter Machinist
- Experience in conventional machining, especially lathe work
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Reliability, initiative, and the ability to work unsupervised
- Commitment to safe and efficient work practices
