Mining
Our global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you’ll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and deliver structural engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and reports for mining sustaining capital projects.
- Perform structural assessments of existing facilities and structures, including site inspections, condition assessments, and remedial design.
- Prepare and review drawings, models, and technical documentation in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
- Liaise with clients, project managers, and site personnel to understand project requirements, constraints, and execution strategies.
- Contribute to project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling activities.
About You
- Bachelor of Engineering degree, accredited by Engineers Australia.
- 2-6 years of experience working within an Engineering Firm, Professional Services or Mining Operator environment.
- Some experience working on mining projects would be ideal, as well as infrastructure projects.
- Developing skills to identify risk in small to medium profile projects.
- Developing experience in managing client relationships and expectations.
- Ability to prepare technical reports on small to medium projects and sections of larger reports.
