As a Senior Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise network. You'll ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and high-performing to support the core functions of a national professional services firm.


You'll also play a key leadership role, mentoring team members and collaborating across departments to deliver innovative solutions.


What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement robust network solutions tailored to business needs
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability
• Implement best-in-class security protocols to protect infrastructure and data
• Provide expert-level support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders
• Maintain clear documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards

What You Bring

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• 5 to 7 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or cloud-focused network engineering role
• Industry certifications such as:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect

Skills and Experience

• Deep understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls)
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Knowledge of wireless networking technologies and best practice
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues
• Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Knowledge of network security best practices and tools
• Experience in implementing and managing network security measures
• Proven experience in managing and leading network projects
• Strong organisational skills to handle multiple projects and priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to explain technical network concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed technical network documentation
• Strong focus on providing excellent technical support and service to users
• Ability to understand and address user needs effectively
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
