Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Workers to join our care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care that supports clients to maintain their independence and wellbeing in their own homes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care including showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Support clients with medication reminders and general health monitoring
  • Escort clients to appointments, shopping, and community activities as required
  • Report changes in client condition to care coordinators or registered nurses
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold privacy and confidentiality standards
  • Follow care plans and ensure safe manual handling practices at all times

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent (required)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
  • A genuine passion for caring and helping others

Preferred Skills

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or home and community care
  • Understanding of person-centred care principles
  • Manual Handling training
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
