About the role:

The Management Accountant is responsible for delivering timely and accurate management reporting, along with financial analysis to support the Senior Management Accountant, Finance Manager, and business stakeholders.

It also plays a key part in streamlining processes and maintaining financial integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and report accurate monthly financial results for the Corporate business unit.
• Develop and deliver key financial and operational reports with variance analysis to support performance and project decision-making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, including presentation and ad hoc analysis preparation.
• Provide detailed financial insights and recommend solutions to support commercial decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, data integrity, and system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, including timely review of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver accurate financial guidance during budget and planning cycles.
  
  
  

Skills & Requirements

Tertiary qualified in accounting, commerce or economics, with over three years' finance experience and currently completing or holding CA/CPA.

• Analytical skills with experience in data analysis and process analysis
• Demonstrated examples working with data visualization tools such as PowerBI/Tableau preferred
• Understanding of management reporting tools, concepts and methodology
• Proactive in identifying problems and independently finding solutions
• Focus on continuous improvement opportunities
• Good understanding of key controls with a focus on identifying and establishing controls in day-to-day activities
