About the Role:
As a Mid-Weight Graphic Designer at Sheet Society, you will play a key role in bringing our brand to life through high-quality, on-brand, and customer-focused creative content. Working within the Creative Team and reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, you will collaborate across departments to execute engaging visual design across digital, retail, and internal channels.
You will be expected to take ownership of design briefs, develop creative concepts, and produce finished artwork across multiple mediums. Your work will help ensure consistent brand representation and contribute to driving both inspiration and commercial outcomes.

About the Team:
This role reports to the Senior Graphic Designer, within the Creative Team and is part of the broader Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Concept Development
- Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer and the broader Creative Team to develop high-impact creative concepts that align with Sheet Society's brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Contribute to consistent brand representation across all customer and internal touchpoints.
- Apply understanding of our brand pillars and product positioning in all design outputs.
- Work closely with internal teams (Ecomm, Performance, Social, Email/CRM/Product/Internal Comms) to develop engaging, fit-for-purpose creative assets.
- Stay up to date on design trends and emerging digital platforms to ensure creative outputs are fresh, relevant, and innovative.
Design Execution
- Deliver high-quality design work across a variety of mediums including digital content, motion graphics, animation, print collateral, retail assets, packaging, and internal communications.
- Produce finished art with attention to detail and consistency with brand guidelines.
- Ensure design outputs meet brief requirements, business objectives, and timelines.
- Contribute to maintaining and evolving the Sheet Society Brand Guidelines, supporting the Senior Graphic Designer in their role as brand custodian.
Commerciality
- As a retail business we are here to both inspire our customers, but also sell our products, so approaching design with both creativity and commerciality is key - taking creative ideas and adapting them to suit commercial needs, or tailor to channel requirements.
- Good understanding of performance metrics, and using data to inform and adapt our creative outputs for growth.
Leadership

- Work efficiently with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and delivery of design assets.
- Interpret and clarify briefs to produce clear, commercially aligned creative solutions - collaborating with broader marketing team (and business), on content storytelling and the message we are trying to convey with the design elements we are producing.
- Use project management tools (e.g., ASANA) to manage task flow and deadlines.
- Champion creativity across the business, you’re eager to explore new ideas and approaches and foster a culture of creativity, encouraging collaboration and open communication across teams.
About You:
- You have 3-5 years experience as a Graphic Designer.
- You are well-versed in juggling multiple tasks and projects and once, and delivering high quality design output, to deadline.
- You thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- You have excellent communication, collaboration and prioritisation skills.
- You have a keen eye for aesthetics and all the finer details including finished art.
- You are experienced in championing brand guidelines through the consistent use of them across all touch points.
- You love to push creative boundaries and know when to break design rules for the right reasons.
- Expert in Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Animate, After Effects, Premier Pro).
- Experience working with Figma.
- Experience with a work management system, such as ASANA.
- Highly desirable - video editing capabilities in Premier Pro or AfterEffects.
- Bonus if you have the ability to develop illustrations, logos and other designs.
- A relevant tertiary design qualification is preferred .
