About the Role:
The Brand Marketing & Content Specialist is a hands-on marketing generalist who serves as a crucial execution partner within our Brand Marketing team. This role is designed for a brand marketer who can seamlessly translate strategy into compelling marketing plans and customer experiences across all touchpoints.
As a project and campaign execution specialist, you'll be responsible for bringing marketing strategies to life through engaging brand development ideation, campaign content creation, and meticulous project coordination. You'll lead an exciting new project, bringing it to life across multiple channels to deliver measurable business results.
The role requires someone who thrives on variety, creativity and pace, and who can move fluidly between creative ideation and tactical execution.
This is a fast-paced and dynamic role, designed to deliver key projects for the brand and Marketing department, at a time of exciting growth, with plenty of opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how customers experience and connect with our brand.
About the Team:
You'll report to our Head of Brand Marketing and be part of our broader Marketing Department. You'll collaborate closely with our Social Media Manager, Content Editor, and Creative teams, plus work with our Digital, Retail, and Customer Experience crews.
Key Responsibilities:
Project and Campaign Management, Coordination and Execution
- Support the Head of Brand Marketing in executing marketing campaigns across online and offline channels, to deliver brand goals and objectives, keeping everything on time and on budget
- Manage multiple content and campaign projects simultaneously, maintaining clear timelines and using project management tools (Asana) to track deliverables and keep campaigns moving
- Coordinate campaign workflows, working closely with the Marketing team to deliver the Customer Experience Calendar
- Help ideate, plan and execute brand campaigns, brand collaborations, product launches, seasonal activations, new store openings and brand content that gets customers excited
- Contribute to campaign ideation sessions, bringing fresh creative perspectives that align with what we’re striving to achieve
- Coordinate with external agencies to ensure seamless project execution
Brand Storytelling, Content Creation and Copywriting
- Create compelling, on-brand storytelling content across multiple formats including lo-fi content for social media channels, website, retail activations and events
- Develop content that brings the brand DNA and tone of voice to life, ensuring consistency across all customer touch points
- Ideate and create engaging social media content tailored to platform-specific audiences and formats (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest). Support content planning and scheduling across all digital channels
- Support the creation of marketing campaign materials from concept briefs through to final execution
Amplifying Brand
- Support the Head of Brand with PR and influencer marketing through content creation, brief development, and sample coordination
- Help create partnership marketing plans that get our brand noticed in all the right places and amplify brand awareness
- Coordinate brand activation events, local area marketing events, and new store opening experiences that make customers feel connected to what we do and drive customer engagement
- Develop marketing materials that showcase our brand values and unique selling proposition.
Monitoring Performance & Results
- Monitor brand, campaign, project and content performance and provide insights that help us improve
- Support campaign analysis and reporting, contributing to weekly trade updates and post campaign reviews
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform brand strategy, positioning and campaign ideation
- Use data insights to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and audience engagement
About You:
- 3-5 years experience in brand marketing, campaign planning or related field
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
- Industry experience in retail, fashion, lifestyle, DTC, consumer brands and start up brands strongly preferred
- Proven portfolio of successful campaign creation and content creation across multiple channels
- Strong understanding of brand development, tone of voice, and content strategy principles
- Social media expertise with hands-on experience creating platform-specific content and understanding audience behaviour
- Excellent project management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail, within strong ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
- Strong visual eye and love for great storytelling with passion for creating engaging customer experiences
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple stakeholders
- Adaptable and proactive with roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Customer-first mindset with understanding of how marketing drives customer experience and business growth
- Experienced using the Google Suite (Google Sheets, Slides and Docs) and an understanding of social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
