Senior Integration Consultant

Our Slalom Integration team helps clients transform the way they connect their systems and interact with their customers. As a Senior Integration Consultant, you will play a key role in client delivery as well as business development as we grow our Integration capability within our cloud Team in Australia

What will you do?

  • Provide integration solution delivery of projects and guidance to influence standards for developments, governance, operational life cycle
  • Collaborate with cross functional team to design and deliver the fit-for-purpose integration platform and integration solutions, considering the best practices standards of patterns, security scalability and maintainability
  • Work with the engagement team and client stakeholders to analyse requirements, design integration solutions and implement them
  • Own project deliverables, including integration solution blueprints, technical design and implementation with high quality and aligned to the defined requirements
  • Deliver compelling presentations including integration design, requirement gathering workshops of the projects and lead our customers through the presentations
  • Assist in pre-sales activities, such as drafting solutions, RFP responses, proposals and statements of work
  • Work with a fun, collaborative team where everyone can be themselves and are provided the opportunity to love their life.
  • Lead and/or participate in internal Slalom events or initiatives.

What will you bring?

  • Over 5 years of experience as an integration specialist.
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions on integration platforms such as Azure Integrations, Boomi, Snaplogic, Informatica, TIBCO, Software AG, Jitterbit, or similar products
  • Strong experience in API design and API management platforms, ideally including Azure API Management, Boomi API Gateway, Kong, Apigee
  • Experience in delivering real-time, event-driven, and batch integration solutions
  • Experience in API design, application architecture, design, and object modeling
  • Familiarity with cloud-based and on-premise enterprise applications such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle ERP, Salesforce, Dynamics AX/CRM, Workday, etc.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end Software Development Life-cycle experience implementing multiple technical integration projects
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement integration solutions within a diverse technical team of clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Understanding of Security standards and mechanisms such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, Basic Authentication and LDAP
  • Understanding of structured and/or unstructured databases and data models like MS SQL, My SQL, Postgress, Mongo DB, Hadoop, etc.
  • Understanding of Open Source architectures and/or past contributions to open source projects
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automation for integration deployments

Please note that this role requires Australian Citizenship and it is based in Melbourne or Sydney.
