Job Description

Civeo is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Corporate Development Analyst to join our team. This role is central to the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other strategic initiatives that drive the company’s growth and long-term success.

As a key member of the Corporate Development team, you’ll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate acquisition opportunities, build financial models, and close transformative transactions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong financial acumen, effective verbal and written communications skills and the drive to make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for potential acquisitions and divestitures using a range of valuation methodologies
  • Evaluate and compare strategic growth opportunities to support capital allocation decisions.
  • Conduct market and macroeconomic research to inform acquisition and organic growth strategies.
  • Participate in due diligence processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for the executive team.
  • Maintain databases of prospective targets and competitors, including valuation metrics and comparable company data.
  • Support long-term strategic planning by working with Finance to develop and maintain forecasts.
  • Gain high visibility across the organisation , including regular interaction with senior leadership.

Skills And Experience -

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, advisory, transaction services, or a similar deal-oriented environment.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills .
  • Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking ability.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to “get it done.”
