Seeking a passionate Lead Product Owner with a creative and strategic mindset to drive the roadmap for the Protect What Matters subdomain at NAB where you'll be customer obsessed and ready to reimagine the experience journeys for customers acquiring and maintaining their general insurance needs.

In this Lead Product Owner role, you will be joining Gena Laholat in Protect What Matters team with a focus on building out the strategic roadmap that’s doubling down on customer obsession, Bank of Choice and best in market experience to help customers protect what matters most.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Collaborate on and adopt the Sub-Domain vision and roadmap to ensure the squads’ focus is in the right place
  • Understand the market and customers’ needs, determine opportunities and establish customer and commercial benefits
  • Perform analysis (scenario, policy, customer, data, gap, change, etc) in order to articulate customer and business needs and solution requirements
  • Understand, elicit, analyse, document and communicate business requirements and articulate product vision with a strong focus on delivery value
  • Support Product Owners to sequence Epics and to break down Epics into an iterative delivery sequence
  • Analyse the impact of proposed solutions holistically in order to communicate key decisions being made

  • An in-depth understanding of relevant consumer processes and systems
  • Capability to create and convey a vision and a multi-year Sub-Domain roadmap to key stakeholders and teams
  • Problem solving with creativity, simplify processes and issues, and analysis
  • Ability to drive and build collaboration across various external stakeholders and teams to yield the best results for the Sub-Domain
  • Comfortable in a leadership role, including leading ideation and discovery workshops and coaching and support for delivery teams
  • Ability to innovate, adapt and grasp new skills and content
