About The Role
Location: Melbourne or Canberra, Australia
Employment Term: Full Time, Permanent
Reporting To: Senior Procurement Manager
This role plays a critical part in supporting the efficient and effective Supply Chain/ Procurement activities of Seeing Machines. The role provides high level, end to end support to all aspects of the function.
This role reports to the Senior Procurement Manager and collaborates closely with key stakeholders across business units and corporate functions in Seeing Machines.

Key Responsibilities
- Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposals (RFP) and supplier selection
- Audit of providers
- Annual reviews
- Processes for initiating purchases for internal use
- Assist in establishing contracts, Statement of Work, Standard Operating Procedures and Key Performance Indicators with manufacturing contractors & service providers
- Measure and monitor performance of providers against service levels
- Track procurement spend, cost reductions, payment terms, etc.
- Assist in creating procurement category plans and management reports as required
- Manage procurement request tickets via internal service (Servicely) portal.
- Purchase Order (PO) processing which includes compliance checks, approval, follow up and consultation with Finance to ensure timely payments
- Vendor list data clean up on a regular basis after consulting with internal stakeholder
- Consultation with stakeholders and provide assistance to ensure purchases are correctly reflected in NetSuite
- Regular consultation with Finance to ensure all invoices are captured for payments
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or similar (or equivalent industry experience as a Procurement Officer)
- Mandatory
- 3+ Years experience within a Procurement /Supply Chain field, within an operation of comparable size and complexity
- Contract management experience and developed negotiation skills
- Understanding and experience in using ERP Management Systems
- Proven planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Desirable
- Membership of a recognized Procurement/ Supply Chain professional group
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite
