Security Officer – Abbotsford Brewery

Your Impact
We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused Security Officer to join the team at our iconic Abbotsford Brewery. This is a key frontline role ensuring that all vehicles and people entering or leaving the site are authorised, inducted and follow safety procedures. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, drivers and contractors — and you’ll play a vital part in keeping our site safe, secure, and running smoothly.
This position requires availability across 24/7 operating hours, working rotating 12-hour day & nights shifts.

Your Impact
We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused Security Officer to join the team at our iconic Abbotsford Brewery. This is a key frontline role ensuring that all vehicles and people entering or leaving the site are authorised, inducted and follow safety procedures. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, drivers and contractors — and you’ll play a vital part in keeping our site safe, secure, and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit of vehicles, visitors, employees, and contractors
- Check documentation for inbound/outbound stock and match with delivery records
- Use surveillance and security systems (CCTV, alarms) to monitor the site
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and first aid situations when required
- Help manage site access cards, time records, and PPE requirements
- Keep accurate records and assist in writing reports when needed
- Support in loading bay control and ensure vehicle movements are safe and efficient
- Assist the HSE team to maintain a clean, compliant and secure workplace
- Uphold PPE, induction and EHS requirements at all times
We are open to a variety of backgrounds, whether you've previously worked in security, first-responder, or other safety-focused role. At minimum we require the following:
- A current First Aid Certificate
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, particularly in emergency situations
- Comfortable working autonomously in addition to building rapport within a small team
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, reporting systems)
