About The Role
As Patron Communication Manager, you’ll lead end-to-end event communication strategies to support an outstanding customer experience across the Australian Open and major events. In this 12-month contract, you will:

About The Role
As Patron Communication Manager, you’ll lead end-to-end event communication strategies to support an outstanding customer experience across the Australian Open and major events. In this 12-month contract, you will:
- Develop and implement communication strategies across pre-, during and post-event customer journeys
- Lead personalised, data-driven campaigns across digital and physical channels (email, app, web, signage, SMS)
- Manage cross-team collaboration to align messaging, timing and content across internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee patron-facing crisis communications with timely, clear and on-brand messaging
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, customer insights and testing
- Champion consistent brand voice, messaging frameworks and tone across all customer-facing content
- Experience leading communication strategy for events, audiences or large-scale activations
- Team management experience during peak event periods, combining leadership with hands-on delivery throughout the year
- A data-informed mindset with strength in customer journey design and segmentation
- Calm, confident decision-making in high-pressure or live event scenarios
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills across varied teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to tone, clarity and brand consistency
- Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and content management platforms (Drupal beneficial)
