This full-time, permanent role is a senior and high-impact position that will lead the development and execution of vendor and contract management practices across the organisation. The position can be based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategic sourcing initiatives across the ICT category, delivering value and alignment with business objectives.
- Influence and support key stakeholders to improve procurement practices and compliance across the business.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including both pre-contract planning and post-award contract management.
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead key negotiations with suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Support continuous improvement in contract and supplier performance management frameworks.
- Work cross-functionally to assess business needs and assist in the evaluation and procurement of tech solutions.
- Promote sustainable procurement practices allied with Modern Slavery and Reconciliation Action Plan objectives.
- Proven expertise in ICT procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in enterprise licensing, SaaS, and cloud-first technologies.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across technical and non-technical groups.
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, ICT or related discipline; postgraduate and/or MCIPS highly desirable.
- Exposure to health or not-for-profit sectors will be viewed favorably.
