Cage Shift Supervisor

SUMMARY: Responsible for the supervision of all Cage Cashiers and Vault Cashiers during shift and for ensuring that departmental and company procedures are followed in the balancing of Cage Cashier, Main Bank, and Vault accountability.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)

• Oversees Cage Cashier operation.
• Verifies procedures and signs off on forms requiring a Cage Supervisor’s signature.
• Develops weekly schedules for their particular shift when the need arises.
• Ensures that all internal control policies, procedures and State Gaming Compact provisions are being followed at all times in the Cage.
• Ensures all support duties and responsibilities to all departments are carried out in an efficient and timely manner and that immediate action is taken on any situation that might be illegal or otherwise extraordinary.
• Establishes effective scheduling, hiring and monitoring of all departmental Team Members.
• Provides courteous service and is cordial to all Team Members and Guests.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

Mandatory Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
• Previous Supervisory experienced preferred.
• Must have money-handling experience and ability to operate a 10-key by sight.
• Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced atmosphere and work under pressure.
• Must possess sound, mature judgment.
• Must possess excellent mathematical skills
• Must possess excellent communication and writing skills.
• Must possess organizational and planning skills.
• Must be able to maintain a passing score on Title 31 and SARC Programs.
• Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.

• Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
• Must be able to lift 45 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.

• Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
• Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
