Position Profile
We’re seeking a skilled Senior Application Developer to join our Digital Health team. In this newly created role, you will work across clinical and corporate domains to design, build, and support digital tools that streamline workflows, enable strategic decision-making, and improve service delivery. You will be the go-to expert for application development and remediation—with the autonomy to manage your own work, timelines, and outcomes.
You’ll collaborate with teams across CAHS to develop practical digital solutions—such as integrating and automating workflows for community-based clinics. Your work will reduce administrative burden and enable staff to spend more time delivering care. You will enhance existing systems by adding features and customisations that improve usability and efficiency, while also ensuring robust maintenance, remediation, and implementation of best-practice recommendations.
Your ability to engage with digital health professionals, clinical teams, technical specialists, and senior leaders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities include
- Leading and delivering complex system and application development projects, collaborating with key stakeholders and external vendors to design and implement tailored digital solutions that meet evolving business needs.
- Providing expert advice and hands-on development across platforms including PowerAutomate, PowerApps, C#, Java, and M365 environments.
- Analysing and translating business needs into scalable, efficient technical solutions to improve workflows and data-driven decision-making.
- Maintaining and remediating existing custom applications, ensuring compliance with current industry standards, security, and best practices.
- Designing and deploying SQL databases with a strong focus on performance, integrity, and maintainability.
- Representing the Digital Health team in workshops, meetings, and cross-functional projects.
Full-stack development experience, and practical experience in the at least three of the following - C#, .Net Core, RESTful APIs, Microservice Architecture, CI/CD - are required.
