Your Opportunity
Following a recent review of our Information Technology strategy and operating model, our focus is on building the structure, skills and capabilities required for the next chapter of the IGO story. We are now seeking applications for the newly created position of Manager IT Digital & Data. In this hands-on role you will lead a small team of 3 in the design, integration, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems, data platforms, and digital tools to drive intelligent operations and actionable insights.
Reporting to the Head of Information Technology you will be responsible for delivering advanced digital capabilities and embedding emerging technologies, including AI, machine learning, and automation, across our platforms, processes, and systems.

Your Opportunity

Key Accountabilities Include
- Digital Transformation & Innovation Champion the adoption of emerging technologies, foster a culture of experimentation, and lead continuous digital innovation initiatives.
- Data Governance & Analytics Oversee enterprise data warehousing and collaborate with business units to define key metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
- Enterprise Systems Management Own the lifecycle of all enterprise systems, managing upgrades, integrations, and implementations in partnership with vendors and IT partners.
- Leadership Lead and mentor a team of business analysts, data specialists, and system administrators, cultivating a high-performance culture focused on delivery, innovation, and customer service.
- Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction through proactive engagement and effective governance.
The ideal person will enjoy working in a role that blends strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You will be passionate about digital transformation and working collaboratively to achieve
- Bachelor’s degree in, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field;
- Postgrad qualifications or certifications in data warehousing, cloud platforms, or enterprise architecture;
- Proven experience in IT leadership roles, with a track record of delivering digital and analytics transformation programs;
- Expertise in enterprise data warehouses, BI platforms and data governance frameworks;
- Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes and data lake/warehouse architectures;
- Industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, DAMA, Azure/AWS, SAP, Power BI) are advantageous;
- Hands-on experience with enterprise systems (ERP, Safety, HRIS) and systems integration;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; and
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
