What is the role
Working from our clients site, full time (38 hours) Monday to Friday in a school environment.
We are currently on the hunt for an experienced Support Engineer who has experience working for an IT Systems Integrator or Managed Service Provider.
This role is responsible for providing technical solutions for our clients, including problem resolution, product installation, configuration, testing and product/service recommendations.
Providing customized and dedicated support to our client, this role calls for solid technical knowledge and great customer service skills.

What is the role

This role is responsible for providing technical solutions for our clients, including problem resolution, product installation, configuration, testing and product/service recommendations.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Implementation of Windows Servers, Azure, Office 365, Exchange, Networks and Virtual environments
- Assisting in planning and managing roll-outs
- Providing on-site and remote support to customers
- Managing tickets, job priorities and process incoming calls, ensuring SLA's are met
- Reporting on trends in the market and within the customer base, staff progress and new initiatives

- A broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies including installation, configuration, diagnosing and preventive maintenance
- Experience in implementing and troubleshooting leading edge technology solutions
- Proven experience delivering multiple small-to-medium sized projects - e.g. migrations, upgrades, office moves etc.
- Technical knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Exchange, Office 365 and virtualisation technologies.
- Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, Cloud Technologies, and IT security
- Solid experience in managing networks and security appliances, ideally in an enterprise environment
- Proven experience with Routing & Switching and VPN technologies
- Good documentation skills
