Corrective Services Industries (CSI) at Wellington Correctional Centre is calling for expressions of interest from skilled tradespeople ready to join a purpose-driven team that supports inmate rehabilitation and post-release employability.

We have exciting opportunities available now in Trades and Services at Wellington and Macquarie Correctional Centres!

Current Vacancies

• Overseer – General Industries Lead by example as you supervise and coach inmates in day-to-day production activities across general industry workshops. Your guidance will help build their skills, improve employability, and contribute to their successful reintegration into the community.
• Trade Overseer – Facilities Maintenance (Plumbing/Electrical) Use your trade expertise to manage essential facility maintenance services within the centre. Oversee and instruct inmates while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Trade Overseer – Print Manage a small-scale commercial print operation within the facility. Coach and mentor inmates in professional print production techniques while meeting commercial outcomes and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Overseer – Grounds Maintenance Bring your groundskeeping expertise to support and maintain secure facility grounds. In this role, you’ll train and supervise inmates in horticulture and landscaping while ensuring environmental and safety compliance.
