Our Company
We help our consumers to imagine and create better places and spaces in which to live and work. DuluxGroup's origins date back to 1918, with its original heritage in decorative paint for Australian and New Zealand homes. Headquartered at Clayton in Victoria, DuluxGroup operates 22 main manufacturing sites, more than a dozen distribution centres and more than 100 company owned trade stores as part of an extensive supply chain across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, as well as Asia, the UK and Europe. Our Supply Chain is the heart of our success and is driven by our passionate, innovative people.
Your Role
An exciting opportunity for a Controls Systems Engineer to join the Dulux Merrifield Paint Production Facility. Grow your technical career within a large, fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the latest technologies, investment in C.I and a culture of collaboration.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the site’s automation systems, supporting reliability and efficiency across production.
Day to day you’ll be assisting our production teams by supporting our vast range of predominantly Siemens automation and control systems across the site. You’ll be implementing improvements and fixing technical issues as they arise, doing plenty of complex problem solving along the way.
You’ll also be heavily involved in many Continuous Improvement projects either by project managing from approval to commissioning or providing technical insight as a key source of knowledge. With your attention to detail you’ll also be reviewing and interpreting technical specifications and vendor documents to build and maintain our systems.
Benefits
This is a highly technical role, so you’ll need to have a passion for automation and control systems and a drive to learn to succeed. Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude are also crucial.
