Raging Waters Sydney - Warehouse Coordinator

About The Role:

The Warehouse Coordinator at Raging Waters Sydney is responsible for the end-to-end management of inventory, logistics, and warehouse operations across the park. This includes coordination with multiple departments, maintaining safety standards, and optimising efficiency through just-in-time practices and manual tracking systems. This role is crucial to ensuring seamless daily operations through the efficient flow of goods and materials.

  • Stock Ordering, Receiving and Handling
  • Oversee the entry and receipting of purchase orders to ensure accurate inventory tracking and timely supplier payments in the Workday system.
  • Coordinate deliveries from suppliers, ensuring all goods are inspected for quality and accuracy.
  • Oversee proper labeling, categorisation, and storage of goods by zone (dry, chilled, frozen, retail, cleaning, facilities/mechanical items).
  • Ensure stock is organised and stored safely and hygienically.
  • Inventory Management
  • Set up and maintain manual inventory tracking via SharePoint, Excel, and Workday.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, apply FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
  • Manage monthly stocktakes and avoid overstocking or shortages.
  • Daily Operations Support
  • Prepare and distribute stock to departments efficiently.
  • Liaise with department heads to respond to daily or urgent inventory needs.
  • Ensure timely delivery and clear communication on supply levels.
  • Safety and Compliance
  • Lead safety protocols including handling hazardous materials and equipment checks.
  • Conduct regular safety drills and training; maintain logs and compliance documents.
  • Enforce park WHS procedures and model safe work behaviours.
  • Cost Control and Efficiency
  • Apply just-in-time inventory principles to minimise waste and storage costs.
  • Strengthen supplier relationships and negotiate terms to benefit park operations.
  • Support stock forecasting and demand alignment with park activity.
  • Policy & System Development
  • Formalise inventory procedures including stock receiving, storage organisation, and tracking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of warehouse systems and documentation.

Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):

  • Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.
  • Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.
  • Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director.
  • Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety.

  • Forklift Licence
  • MR Licence - desirable

Skills:

  • Strong inventory and warehouse operations knowledge
  • Intermediate Excel and SharePoint skills
  • Familiarity with manual tracking systems and FIFO practices
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of WHS compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics or inventory control role
  • Experience managing stock levels, safety standards, and supplier coordination

Languages: Fluent English
