Currently we are seeking Registered Nurses to join our Emergency team. The successful applicant/s will, as part of a multidisciplinary team, provide comprehensive evidence-based nursing care to patients, facilitate and promote patient safety and quality of care.

Rockingham Peel Group (RPG) is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service, one of the fastest growing health services in Western Australia and comprises two hospital campuses, Rockingham General Hospital and Murray District Hospital, in addition to community and mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana. As the flagship hospital, Rockingham General is focused on providing high quality general medical, surgical and mental health services as well as outpatient care. Murray District Hospital offers inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health services.
RGH ED is responsible for the triage, assessment and management of emergency presentations from all ages with separate dedicated areas for paediatric patients. We provide a comprehensive orientation and progression pathway for those new to the ED environment and recognise prior knowledge and skills for staff with previous critical care experience.
SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.

Your Application Should Include
- A copy of your current resume which summarises your experience and contains phone & email contact details of 2 professional nursing referees, with at least 1 being a recent supervisor/line manager
- Evidence of your AHPRA registration
- Please discuss the experience, skills and attributes you have that will support you to perform the role of an ED Nurse at Rockingham General Hospital and integrate into the multi-disciplinary team (300 word limit)
- Please provide an example of how you have identified and managed a deteriorating patient, including specific detail on any actions and/or interventions you completed (300 word limit)
