The Clinical Nurse Specialist – MH Liaison ED serves as a vital clinical expert, consultant, educator, and advocate across the continuum of mental health care. The successful applicant shall facilitate the management of emergency psychiatric presentations in the Rockingham General Hospital Emergency Department (ED) by conducting clinical mental health nursing assessments and providing consultative services to staff of the ED. Performs the primary function of a Senior Community Mental Health Nurse, providing clinical mental health services to individuals with a mental illness, their families and carers who present in the ED.
