About The Role
The Team Leader Allied Health Functional Recovery is a senior allied health (Occupational Therapist) leadership position, responsible for the operational oversight, supervision, consultation, professional development and guidance of a multidisciplinary specialist therapy stream.
The stream will focus on building patients’ ability to independently engage in tasks of self-care (activities of daily living); productivity (paid/unpaid work, education, skill acquisition) and leisure.
The Team Leader Allied Health Functional Recovery will participate in the development of occupation-focused services in line with the governance structure of the Forensic Hospital and use their experience as a skilled occupational therapist to provide suitable guidance and consultation on Justice Health NSW and Forensic Hospital services. The Team Leader Functional Recovery is expected to maintain a small clinical load.
