About The Team
About the role
The role will involve applying your consulting experience and knowledge of payroll functions (e.g. operations, technology, controls, service delivery) to deliver to our clients insightful and well informed advice and recommendations to increase the effectiveness of their payroll function.
Specifically, you will provide advice, insights, leadership and direction on projects, working with client stakeholders and team members to analyse, assess and consult to provide recommendations and initiatives to enhance and / or improve an organisations payroll (and related) function. Furthermore, you will coach and mentor others within the WPS team and support their growth, development and understanding of payroll. You will also receive ongoing training to maintain and enhance knowledge and capabilities in the applicable areas.
You will consider factors such as organisational maturity, capability and capacity as well as an organisations strategic priorities to provide the best quality payroll support and analysis to our clients providing relevant and practical advice and recommendations.

You will be someone with a genuine interest in both the human and technical side of HR, payroll and workforce management technology. While you’ll certainly have deep expertise in test management, you’ll need to bring an aptitude for consulting in a client-facing environment.

About the role

Requirements:
- Relevant experience (min. 5 years) consulting on or working within the payroll function
- Demonstrated consulting experience working with clients providing relevant analysis, advice and recommendations
- E xperience in planning and delivery of payroll reviews and / or improvement initiatives
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
- Tertiary level qualifications in Business, HR, IT or related areas are advantageous.
