Our People Experience team is seeking a passionate and experienced Employee Onboarding Manager to lead the evolution of how we welcome new talent to the Bank.
This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to design and embed a seamless, engaging and impactful onboarding journey - from pre-boarding through to thriving in role. You will be part of a small, collaborative team dedicated to creating a positive and supportive experience for every employee.
About the role:
As the Employee Onboarding Manager, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end onboarding experience, ensuring it reflects our values and supports new hires in feeling connected, confident, and ready to contribute.
You'll work closely with key stakeholders across the Bank to deliver a consistent and high-quality experience, blending in-person touchpoints with digital solutions to meet the needs of the Bank.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and manage the onboarding journey from preboarding through to first six months in role.
- Deliver both face-to-face and digitally led onboarding experiences using your strong technical and design skills.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, track key metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
- Create engaging collateral and provide tools and support for leaders to deliver a consistent onboarding experience.
- Leverage HR technology platforms (e.g., Workday) to enhance the onboarding process and employee experience.
About you:
- You will have experience within either learning and development, communications or people experience areas
- You will be a strong collaborator with exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships throughout the Bank
- You will have a proven ability to design and implement onboarding solutions that are both strategic and people focussed
- You will have strong project management, prioritisation and organisation skills
- You will have a data informed mindset with a creative solutions-oriented approach
- You will be a confident communicator - written, verbal and in group settings. A natural storyteller.
- You will be a process driven and detail-oriented person with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation
