Construction Manager

As the Construction Manager, your core responsibility is the successful execution of nominated projects within budget, on time, and to our high quality and safety standards. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will manage the end-to-end process from planning through to post-implementation review. While the role is predominantly based in VIC, occasional interstate travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver new restaurant builds, coordinating internal stakeholders, external contractors, and landlord teams.
• Manage refurbishment projects, ensuring minimal disruption, clear communication, and timely defect resolution.
• Oversee dual drive-thru upgrades, managing contractors to ensure design and execution meet deadlines and capital requirements.
• Support the Development Team with roll-out projects and costing for capex approvals.
• Ensure all projects are delivered with appropriate WHS planning and compliance.
• Conduct tender and contract administration, including contractor performance and inductions.
• Participate in post-project reviews, offering insights and recommendations for future improvements.
• Drive cost-efficiency and process improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in managing capital projects, ideally in retail, QSR, or similar environments
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and documentation
• Detail-oriented with a safety-first mindset
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required
