The Role
Join Our Team as a Senior Project Manager!
Toll Group is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager for our Global IT team. This is a pivotal role within our Group IT, where you'll drive medium to large change projects/programs, ensuring effective project leadership, planning, resource management, risk and issue management, and stakeholder engagement. You will have the opportunity to focus on improving project management frameworks and methodologies, along with strategic process improvements. Additionally, you will bring specialist experience in managing complexities, risks, and issues associated with designing and implementing automation and WMS solutions in logistics.

The Role
Join Our Team as a Senior Project Manager!
Toll Group is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager for our Global IT team. This is a pivotal role within our Group IT, where you'll drive medium to large change projects/programs, ensuring effective project leadership, planning, resource management, risk and issue management, and stakeholder engagement. You will have the opportunity to focus on improving project management frameworks and methodologies, along with strategic process improvements. Additionally, you will bring specialist experience in managing complexities, risks, and issues associated with designing and implementing automation and WMS solutions in logistics.
A day in the life of an IT Senior Project Manager at Toll Group:
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple projects to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee project governance with clear accountability for all internal and external functions.
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules with critical milestones to drive effective resource planning and utilization.
- Lead seamless handover processes from Business Development/Sales to Project Delivery for successful implementation.
- Ensure adherence to project disciplines including capex sign-off, scope change requests, and cost variations.
- Manage senior executive stakeholders and project sponsors, ensuring quality project documentation and clear exit criteria.
About You:
- A degree in IT, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or Business from a recognised tertiary institution preferred.
- PRINCE2/PMP or equivalent - preferred
- Solid experience in IT Project Management in Logistics/Supply Chain in implementing warehouse management, automation and robotics solutions
- Highly evolved project management skills leveraged across warehouse and transport technology
- Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate those into a project plan and an effective operational solution
- A strong understanding of logistics and supply chain systems that connect to Automation solutions, and their uses and applications (i.e. WMS, TMS, ERP, BI etc)
- Advanced level experience with MS Office – Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Project
