This role will lead the development and execution of human capital strategies that drive organisational growth, enhance employee development, and foster a positive culture, aligning all HR and talent initiatives with strategic goals.


What you’ll do

On a day to day basis you will:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to maintain the people and culture strategy aligned with the organisation's purpose, mission, vision, and values.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Oversee the full cycle of talent acquisition, including workforce planning, recruitment, and selection processes.
  • Design and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive work culture.
  • Implement strategies to enhance employee retention and promote a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
  • Develop and administer a compensation program that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues and provide guidance on people policies, procedures, and legal compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances.
  • Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify training and development needs across the organisation.
  • Design and implement learning programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping and data management practices.
  • Act as a People Success Partner for assigned client groups.
  • Support People Success partners on initiatives as required.


Experience you’ll bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environments and a proven record of creating and maintaining a high-performing culture.
  • Proven experience in a senior people and culture leadership role, preferably as a Head of People and Culture or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Experience in organisational development and change management.
