As a Procurement & Supply Specialist with Bunnings, you will be responsible for coordinating the supply management, purchasing and cost control across multiple categories in a diverse supply chain.

This is a part time role - 24 hours per week, with flexibility across days of work and start/finish times. The role will be based in our National Support Office in Burnley VIC, where we support hybrid working.

What's Involved
- Conduct the end to the end supply and procurement process for your categories ensuring optimal supply, competitive rates, understanding of supply forecasts to meet workload requirements of the business with a focus on delivery in full and on time
- Build and maintain strong market and commercial knowledge in purchasing categories, ensuring awareness of routes to supply and suppliers
- Develop national tenders, summarise proposals with appropriate criteria and recommendations to buy
- Develop timelines and key milestone actions required to manage projects
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and review supplier key performance indicators and site feedback, maintain robust reporting and supplier performance reviews
- Work as part of the broader Procurement & Supply team to support across the end to end purchase order process as well as reporting, tracking and reconciling costs for projects against budget, as required

You’ll Need
- Demonstrated experience in a related field (Procurement or Supply) with exposure to managing suppliers and/or stakeholders
- Demonstrated skills in Microsoft programs – specifically Excel ideally having experience with Pivot Tables & VLookUps
- Ability to managing multiple projects and activities, ideally where you have been responsible for identifying suppliers, formulating procurement decisions, and managing and supervising supplier delivery projects
- Understanding of the importance of supplier and risk management
- Good technical knowledge of the end to end purchasing processes and stakeholder management
