Job Description

The Retail Food and Beverage staff are expected to uphold and enhance Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre's (PCEC) reputation based around the philosophy that 'food always comes first' and that we are innovators in food style and service.

Responsibilities

These roles demand naturally energetic and flexible individuals who are accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and has proven capacity to work well under pressure and to strict service time lines. It will also require the capacity to deal effectively with multiple tasks and competing demands

Qualifications

Chefs:

  • Qualified career orientated Chef with a proven knowledge of kitchen operations.
  • Confidence and leadership that is inspiring in teams.
  • Proven experience in production operations.
  • Experience and the ability to run Cafés/Kiosks/Food Outlets.
  • The ability to organise and balance multiple demands.

Cooks

  • Career orientated Cook with a proven knowledge of kitchen operations seeking to learn
  • Confidence and a proactive team member.
  • The ability to organise and balance multiple demands.

Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
