About the department

You will be part of our dynamic Cardiometabolic Team, a group dedicated to making a difference in patients' lives by promoting innovative solutions in the cardiometabolic space. Based in Victoria, the team operates in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, where every member plays a crucial role in driving success. Together, we work to support healthcare professionals, patients, and institutions, ensuring Novo Nordisk remains at the forefront of cardiometabolic care
The position
As a Sales Performance Coach, you will:
  • Enhance sales team performance through coaching: Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions to improve sales techniques, communication skills, and product knowledge while providing actionable feedback to help achieve targets.
  • Develop and implement tailored training programs: Design customized training sessions based on individual and team needs, aligning content with company sales strategies and partnering with sales managers and L&D to identify training needs and ensure consistency.
  • Monitor and analyse sales metrics for improvement: Review performance data to identify trends and areas for development, using insights to guide coaching efforts, adjust sales strategies, and measure training programs' success through KPIs and assessments.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development: Encourage a growth mindset among team members, promote the use of learning resources, integrate feedback loops into coaching practices, and drive change management initiatives to adapt to evolving market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to align coaching with business goals: Work with sales managers to align coaching initiatives with overall sales objectives, provide team progress updates, and facilitate sales management workshops for effective leadership and functional competency development.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or science, along with relevant training and coaching qualifications is required.
  • Over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record in driving sales performance and developing strategies is essential.
  • Understanding of coaching principles required and coaching experience ideal.
  • Mentoring experience and excellent communication skills are vital for effectively engaging with stakeholders and providing constructive feedback.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional organizational abilities are necessary for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently while balancing multiple responsibilities are crucial for maximizing productivity.
