We are seeking for

Accounts Payable Officer (Emu Plains, NSW)

Location: Wirtgen Australia Pty. Ltd., Emu Plains NSW 2750, Australia

Key Duties:

  • Supplier invoice verification and processing against purchase orders and internal policies;
  • Manage documentation of import from the OEMs according to the policies including processing freight, tax and duties invoices;
  • Process employee reimbursements;
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements and follow up of variances with the supplier or internal contacts;
  • Reconciliation of the GR/IR account;
  • Manage unposted invoices and unreceived recurring invoices and their accrual at the end of the month;
  • Reconciliation of AP related G/L accounts and subledger and other documentation required for SOX;
  • Process Payment run from end to end for all currencies on a weekly base;
  • Action all Accounts Payable queries;
  • Generate internal reports on a regular base or on request;
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with suppliers and Wirtgen employees involved in purchasing or good receipts.

To be considered you must have the following:

  • Practical and varied experience in accounting specifically Accounts Payable;
  • Experience in SAP;
  • Clear problem solver, apply logic or reasoning to review information, identify problems and their causes, evaluate options and select the best solution;
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information;
  • High level organisational skills, the ability to balance multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines;
  • Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular PowerPoint and Publisher;
  • Exceptional communication skills, proven ability to convey information in both verbal and written formats as appropriate for the needs of the target audience;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop rapport with others and form working relationships, listen effectively, manage conflict, understand and respect cultural difference and have a global focus on interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will also need to complete and pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and obtain a police clearance.
