With a track record of delivering complex projects in live environments, they’re looking for a Preconstruction Manager to lead the front-end of the build process with precision and confidence.
The Role
Reporting to a Director, you will oversee the preconstruction phase across multiple D&C projects, ensuring successful handover to delivery teams. This is a strategic role where you’ll collaborate closely with Estimators, Project Managers, Designers, and Clients to shape successful project outcomes.

The Role
Reporting to a Director, you will oversee the preconstruction phase across multiple D&C projects, ensuring successful handover to delivery teams. This is a strategic role where you’ll collaborate closely with Estimators, Project Managers, Designers, and Clients to shape successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all preconstruction activities from initial client engagement through to site commencement
- Manage design development, cost planning, and value engineering
- Coordinate internal teams and consultant inputs during early project stages
- Support and challenge client briefs to ensure viable, buildable outcomes
- Manage risk, programming, methodology, and procurement strategy
- Assist in bids/tenders and lead presentations for key clients
- Proven experience in a similar Preconstruction or Design Manager role within commercial construction
- Background in fit-out, refurbishment or new build across complex projects
- Excellent stakeholder management skills – you can lead conversations with clients, consultants, and authorities
- Technically minded with the ability to challenge, assess, and optimise design solutions
- Strong commercial and programming acumen and happy to work in a fast paced environment
