Lead clinical excellence and support aged care services through a critical transition period.

Our client, a well-regarded provider in the Seniors Living sector, is seeking a skilled and experienced Practice Lead – Clinical to step into a 3-month full-time temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your clinical leadership to a purposeful role focused on governance, compliance and quality improvement across aged care services.

You’ll work with a supportive leadership team to drive positive outcomes and uphold high standards of care.

About the Role As the Practice Lead – Clinical, you will provide expert clinical advice and leadership, supporting the development and implementation of evidence-based strategies that promote safe, high-quality care. You’ll ensure alignment with current legislation, regulatory requirements and organisational values while mentoring staff and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

This temporary contract is ideal for a seasoned professional looking to make a meaningful contribution during a key period of organisational transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret regulatory and legislative changes, ensuring clinical compliance.
  • Analyse clinical audits and incidents to develop effective risk mitigation plans.
  • Implement and support clinical programs and education initiatives.
  • Lead and review policies, systems and frameworks aligned with best practice care.
  • Provide high-level guidance on clinical indicators, documentation and care outcomes.

What We’re Looking For Essential:

  • Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in aged and/or community care in a senior clinical or compliance advisory role.
  • Strong understanding of aged care standards, compliance frameworks and quality systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, solve complex problems, and influence positive outcomes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • National Police Check (or ability to obtain) and valid driver’s licence.

Desirable:

  • Post-graduate qualifications in gerontic nursing, dementia care, quality assurance or health management.
