About The Role

Our new IT Project Manager will oversee all assigned IT projects of moderate to high complexity (including application and cloud delivery). You’ll be responsible for managing the project team, assigning responsibilities and running schedules and resources to ensure timely completion of assigned projects.

You’ll mainly be working as part of a delivery team in a central IT department, working collaboratively with vendors and stakeholders to transform the V/line business.

This is a senior level position requiring the ability to complete complex application and cloud development projects on a timely basis, using the talents of other Architects, Application Developers, Business Analysts, vendors, SME’s and other IT staff as required.

About You

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Demonstrated experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies when delivering projects, including certification in at least one of these methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with software teams, managing through software development lifecycle
  • Proven experience working directly with vendors and internal/external integration teams
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or IT, highly desirable
  • Organisational Change Management, highly desirable
  • Experience working with an Agile team on software development


Remuneration for this position is commensurate to the successful candidate’s aligned skills and experience to the position.
