Associate - Major Projects Advisory

Join our dynamic Major Projects Advisory team and be a key contributor to our Active Real Asset Management initiatives. We specialize in enhancing the value and optimizing the performance of assets across infrastructure, real estate, and other real assets. As an Associate, you'll work closely with senior leadership, gaining hands-on experience in asset management and investment strategy.
We are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented Associate with 3-5 years of experience in investment management, consulting, or related fields. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modelling expertise, exceptional client management skills, and the ability to support asset management strategies for real estate, infrastructure, and other real assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Modelling:
Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess asset performance and valuation.
Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and risk assessments to guide investment decisions.
Assist in preparing materials for investment committees and executive recommendations.
Asset Management & Operational Support:Monitor key operational and financial metrics for assets under management.
Support the development and execution of value-add strategies (e.g., asset repositioning, cost optimization).
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including property managers, operators, and consultants, to align strategies with business goals.
Reporting & Presentation:Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations for investment committees, clients, and senior leadership.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and performance updates for investors and key partners.
Assist in drafting investment memos, asset performance summaries, and market research reports.
Client & Stakeholder Management:Foster strong relationships with investors, lenders, and joint venture partners.
Support the due diligence process and manage data requests.
Address investor queries and provide regular updates on asset performance.
Market & Industry Research:Conduct research on market trends and sector-specific opportunities in real estate and infrastructure.
Track macroeconomic and regulatory factors that impact asset performance.
Identify potential acquisition or divestment opportunities based on market analysis.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in investment management, private equity, consulting, real estate, or infrastructure.
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel.
Expertise with PowerPoint and the ability to create compelling presentations.
Understanding of active asset management principles and real asset investment strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Preferred:
Experience in infrastructure, real estate, or private equity investments.
Knowledge of valuation techniques and capital structure optimization.
Familiarity with financial databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar tools.
