PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION
Lead the strategic growth of adidas within the SRG category, with a primary focus on driving performance and market share through our key partner, Rebel Australia. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing our wholesale strategy, ensuring long-term, profitable growth while upholding the integrity and strength of the adidas brand.
You will play a critical leadership role in aligning our sales execution with global objectives, empowering a high-performing team, and forging strong customer partnerships that deliver mutual value and lasting success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic growth of adidas within the SRG category, with a primary focus on driving performance and market share through our key partner, Rebel Australia. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing our wholesale strategy, ensuring long-term, profitable growth while upholding the integrity and strength of the adidas brand.
You will play a critical leadership role in aligning our sales execution with global objectives, empowering a high-performing team, and forging strong customer partnerships that deliver mutual value and lasting success.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the strategic account for Rebel Australia with clear short-, mid-, and long-term growth plans.
- Co-develop the portfolio strategy with the Wholesale SSD, aligned to global and market direction; secure final approval from the Managing Director.
- Set and track clear sales targets and action plans to optimize Net Sales, identifying both risks and new growth opportunities.
- Lead qualitative Open-To-Buy (OTB) planning across quarterly, seasonal, and annual cycles.
- Ensure consistent application of adidas Group standards and best practices within the Rebel sales team.
- Support the negotiation and enforcement of trade terms with Rebel.
- Partner with the Senior Director, Sales to align the Rebel team’s structure with the global blueprint and drive its transformation.
- Lead direct reports by setting clear objectives, performance targets, and development goals.
- Monitor competitor activity and customer trends, providing timely insights and actions.
- Deliver accurate forecasts using sell-through data, inventory status, and account performance.
- Attract, hire, and retain top talent in collaboration with HR and Sales Directors.
- Support professional development of team members, both professionally and socially.
- Foster a culture of collaboration across all direct and cross-functional teams.

- Fluent in English and local language; additional languages are an asset
- In-depth understanding of retail and wholesale, especially in sports and fashion categories
- University degree in business, preferably with a focus on marketing or sales
- 9–10 years of sales experience in large organizations, ideally in apparel, footwear, fashion, or FMCG
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing people and operations
- Exposure to cross-functional roles such as sports marketing, brand management, or supply chain
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
